Simply plug the audio cord on the SoundFeeder into the headphone jack of your portable audio player. Then tune your radio to any blank FM station between 88.1 and 95.9 Mhz. Play your portable music player in the car without upgrading to an expensive new stereo system with the Arkon SF150A SoundFeeder. The wireless FM adapter is designed to transmit the music from a portable CD player, iPod, or MP3 player to an empty frequency on your FM dial. All you have to do is plug the SF150A into your player's 3.5 mm headphone jack, and then tune the radio to any one of the blank FM stations between 88.1 and 95.9 MHz. (The transmitter works best when the station plays nothing but static.) Once you find an empty frequency, the SF150A plays your music directly through your car's stereo speakers. The sound quality is solid and reliable, though it does require precise manual tuning for best results. Listeners can also use the SF150A on other radios as well, such as home stereos or portable boomboxes. And at a mere 3.38 by 1.62 by 0.88 inches (W x H x D), the SoundFeeder takes up very little space, letting you store it in a cup holder, pocket, or other location. Works well but with a hitch This is a great product if you do not want to move the cd player or mp3 player far from the radio you are using to transmit. I use this for my mp3/cd player and my sisters ipod on my stereo instead of wasting batteries on my media speakers and it worked well when I had the transmitter inches from the stereo, anything more than that and it gets very staticky with a lot of white noise. It does it's job but it doesn't do it well USB Power cord NOT included The photograph shows a USB power cord; the ARKON SF150A does not include such a cord. Only the ARKON SF150C does. Great Transmitter for analog tuning radio This works great with radios/receivers that have analog tuning. It is not intended for radios/receivers with digital tuning (they have a different model).
