Didn't fit my 2.5 mm headset
The adapter came on time. I purchased this to have my 2.5mm headset fit my iphone which takes 3.5mm jack. The adapter on the 2.5 female side is not deep enough to accomodate the headset. My headset is plantronics and fits about 4 different phones I have had... I am not sure what this adapter is for but it doesn't work for the purpose I needed it for. I doesn't simply adapt a 2.5mm to 3.5mm. (also, I thought it was just a tight fit so I damaged my headset jack trying to push it in deeper but it became clear that it wasn't the right item)
PREVIOUS REVIEW WAS IN ERROR
This adapter was never meant to couple a cell phone's headset - those have a whole other wire, and their tips are four sections long, not three... These should work just fine for everything except headsets that you can talk into, the wire that carries your voice has to go somewhere, and that somewhere is the other extra section on the tip that the previous reviewer cannot seem to cram into this adapter... This adapter is described as a stereo adapter, with no mention of cell phone usage...
