Cute functions are WAY too loud!1
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2MF6BF12C3TED My 9 yr old has a SpiDog (spiderman iDog) which is adorable, and while the speaker obviously is not top notch, it's cute, it's portable, and it has its novelty appeal. So, when I saw the pink tattoo iDog AMP'D I decided to get one for myself for the cute factor and the portability. I also figured the stereo speakers would be a nice upgrade from the original iDogs.

What a disappointment! As you can tell by my video, the movement of the paw tapping and head movement is so noisey that it greatly takes away from the music! It makes it impossible to listen to music at low volumes!

It truly is awful!

13th Birthday4
I bought my daughter an original idog for her 10th birthday and she played with it so much she wore the poor thing out. So for her 13th birthday I bought her the pink butterfly idog amp'd. She loved her first idog but she likes this one even more. The two speakers make a big difference in the sound level compared to the original with only one speaker. Also the original didn't wag it's tail or tap it's foot. My daughter and I think that addition is pretty cute. ;-)

My kids love this "puppy" 4
I just got the I-Dog Amp'D pink butterfly dog for my 8 year old. She attaches her Sansa MP3 player to it. She loves it. The speaker sound is tinny - but it can get really really loud. I haven't heard the regular I-dog so I can't compare max volumes. This one taps its foot, wags its tail and ears and moves its head while lights flash. You can also have it on and play with it without music - petting the face makes it bark, sniff and display lights. I got mine on sale, don't think I would have bought it at full price. Fun, but certainly not a speaker option for audiophiles!
